Vern Kirby first smoked Marijuana when he was 28 years old. Fifty years later he has decided to stop. About six years ago Vern started taking CBD products in addition to smoking. Over the years, Vern used Marijuana to "self-medicate" and also as a recreational activity. This book describes the highlights of his life with addiction to other substances and the role Marijuana played in helping him control abuse. It tells much about his understanding of this amazing plant and how our government has hidden the benefits from the public in the interest of special interest. Vern believes in God and finds direction for his life with prayer and meditation. He is neither 100% for Marijuana & CBD nor 100% against these substances. He believes all things on earth are for the good of mankind. Understanding and moderation are what Vern feels is appropriate. Vern began to experience several symptoms when he started using CBD products that no doctor can explain. The only way to determine they are the reason is to stop using. That is what he has done, and his research tells him it may take longer than simple withdrawal to restore the Endo Cannabinol System in his body to a natural state. Once his system is clear again, he may use cannabis again, but in moderation. It's true no one has overdosed on cannabis as they have on Heroin and Opioids, but there may be side effects yet not disclosed. Legalization should be followed with more research.
