Jordan Zoom '92 "Union LA - Guava Ice" DA2553 800

The Union x Jordan Zoom ‘92 “Guava Ice” is part of the Los Angeles fashion boutique’s Fall 2020 collaboration with Jordan Brand. One of several styles reimagined by Union, the Jordan Zoom ‘92 “Guava Ice” is dressed in the same colorway used on the popular Jordan 4 design created exclusively for Union’s LA-based retail post. The Jordan Zoom ‘92 is undoubtedly inspired by retro performance basketball styles from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s and Union’s “Guava Ice” treatment brings that aesthetic to the forefront, as well. Tan synthetic nubuck overlays appear on the forefoot and bottom eyelet area. A slightly darker shade of pinkish-tan suede is located on the toe. Beige mesh paneling appears on the mid-panel and collar and a light grey semi-translucent synthetic material can be found above the chunky pre-yellowed midsole. Light pink accenting comes into play on the top eyelet panel, on the liner, and on the forefoot above the midsole. The back of the shoe features the same triangular overlay as the original look of the Air Jordan 7. The number “9” appears inside of the panel as a reference to the number Michael Jordan wore as a member of the Dream Team during the ‘92 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
