All righty; this one needs some explanation. I added this page into the story to make something that happens later in the book clearer. When you see the ending of the story, it will make more sense. Which the same cannot be said of me...

Last panel is one of my faves for the image/drawing integration.

Ahhh, the dark side of the DJ booth. And the morning after...

It's so hard to describe the vibe in Rebel Rebel, but imagine being in the densest music library you can imagine, then up the hipness quotient by 100x. That's close.

This scene takes place in the REAL Rebel Rebel in Greenwich Village. Full of awesome music.

This page also had a caption box (sometimes two) on each panel, and one of my beta-readers said "Hey, we get it, you don't have to tell us twice, dude." Cut, cut, cut, and the page is the better for it!

My biggest lesson learned with this book; know when to shut up and let the pictures do the talking. This is the page where I learned that...

The balance in life between love and one's passions. Always a tough one.

Uh-oh. Did anyone else just hear the other show drop?

Nothing succeeds like success! My favorite panel on the page is Roxy's face in the 3rd panel, giving Carlos the "WTF?" look because of his being nice to her. I worked hard to capture that look, and I'm pleased with the results.

This page is one of my favorites in terms of the lighting effects, and the saturation of the color. I was happy that I was able to capture the haze and intensity of really strong colored club lighting. And yes, Roxy does rock the house on this night.
