This store is based HEAVILY on a real life mecca of mine, Rebel Rebel NYC, a very small, tiny cramped but truly awesome little record shop in Greenwich Village in New York City.
I've gone there for 13 years, always find cool stuff, and have NEVER been able to stump the staff on a question or request. I love this store, so when I had to have a cool store in BPM, this was my only answer! David Shabiro (the owner) is NOT a hard drinking burned out former superstar DJ, but he is as wicked smart as Robie.
