Okay, so here's the deal. Peter Parker has seen Man Mountain Marko outside kicking butt in the neighborhood. Peter has to duck out to switch to Spider-Man and deal with the problem. Mary Jane is pissed at his sudden departure, but being a decent guy, Peter offers her some Hostess Cup Cakes to keep her satisfied until he returns. Peter then runs out, risks life and limb protecting innocent people, using about $100.00 worth of web fluid, making Mary Jane's (not his own) neighborhood a safer place, and upon his return (under the pretense that he was just going out to get some milk to go along with the cupcakes) is greeted with this:
